Our ethos

A therapeutic community, designed as a microcosm of society.

Treasure House is built around the belief that every young person deserves to be known. We are a small, deliberately structured community where learners are met where they are — emotionally, socially and academically — and supported to grow at their own pace.

Our staff are practitioners as well as teachers. Therapy, pastoral care and academic learning are woven together so that every student's day is coherent, predictable and meaningful.

Belonging

A consistent, trusted community where every young person is known by name and held in mind.

Curiosity

Curriculum that follows the learner — practical, creative, and grounded in real interests.

Repair

Trauma-informed practice and therapeutic relationships at the heart of every interaction.

Voice

Young people share decisions about their learning, their environment and their future.

In their own words

What our community says.

The support I receive right now is good, I feel understood and supported. It has definitely helped me to grow how much I do at school.
Year 11 student
[Our child] has made so much progress at Treasure House as demonstrated in her attendance percentage and really impressive academic attainment. She's so comfortable at school now and has really settled into feeling at home. Thanks for all the brilliant support.
Parent of a Year 11 student
My attendance has gotten a lot better since I moved schools (To Treasure House), because I feel more motivated to come to school and do the work.
