Treasure House (London) CIC is a registered Independent School (URN 141031) in Old Kent Road. We work with neurodivergent learners aged 11–19 who have not been able to thrive in mainstream education.

We believe difference is an asset. Our vision is a world where neurodivergent young people are understood, valued and equipped with the qualifications, skills and confidence to live the life they choose.
To provide a therapeutic education that prepares young people for life.
We offer small-group, trauma-informed education that integrates academic qualifications, therapeutic support and life skills. We work in partnership with families, carers and local authorities so that every placement is intentional and every outcome is shared.
A microcosm of society.
Our school is intentionally structured as a small community — a microcosm of the wider world. Students take part in democratic meetings, share responsibility for their environment, and learn to navigate relationships in a setting where every adult is a therapeutic ally.

We keep numbers low so every young person is known. Class sizes, staff ratios and timetables are built around individual needs.
Therapy woven in
Therapeutic practice is not a bolt-on. It is present in how we plan lessons, hold breaks and respond to distress.

From Functional Skills to A Level — every learner leaves with portable, recognised qualifications and a credible next step.
Partnership with families
Parents and carers are not visitors — they are partners. We work closely with home and with placing authorities.

Neurodiversity-driven environment

A school led by neurodiverse people, designed for neurodiverse students. Both founders have lived experience of Autism and ADHD.

Neurodiversity is an asset — as long as you can learn to identify your needs, manage them with effective strategies, and ask for adaptations.
Attachment at the heart of what we do

Our parents entrust their child to our care. We support safe and gentle individuation so both can enjoy independence.

Relationships are at the heart of what we do. Rupture and repair promotes trust and a feeling of safety.
Embedded therapeutic awareness

We don't treat therapies as an additional strand of what we do — being in school is therapy. Our therapists also offer direct work.

Our practice is to work with the young person to recognise their past difficulties and grow beyond them in an emotionally safe, specially curated environment.
Interdependence is the ultimate aim

We recognise how much our students have relied upon parents or carers, but need to develop independence and agency.

We foster growth in autonomy whilst requiring students to support their peers and maturely negotiate ways of working and relating — in preparation for adulthood.

At times we need extra help to offer our students the support they need. Whenever necessary, we will work with external support services to meet the needs of our students and to support their families. We aim to surround our students with care.
